The Seattle Latino Chamber of Commerce, under the leadership of President Marcos Wanless, actively participated in the 2025 WABA Korea Expo & Festival, hosted by the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Washington at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel

As a member of the Washington Minority Business Coalition (WMBC), our Chamber joined the Korean Chamber, Taiwanese Junior Chamber of Commerce Seattle, GSBA (Greater Seattle Business Association), and other minority Chambers in reinforcing the importance of collaboration across communities. The event provided a strong platform to highlight shared efforts in promoting economic growth, cultural exchange, and opportunities for minority-owned businesses.

The Expo gathered more than 50 companies and institutions from Korea, Washington State, and beyond, with distinguished guests including U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, who emphasized the need for unity among minority groups. She also recognized the active role of President Marcos Wanless in strengthening representation for the Latino business community.

Over three days, WABA Korea showcased business exhibitions, cultural performances, and networking opportunities, reaffirming the importance of solidarity among minority communities and the value of cross-cultural partnerships.
